Coaching in not about telling you WHAT to do. While there may be an element of providing you with resources and information (which is more 'consulting'), coaching is about reminding you what you already know and EMPOWERING you to take your own journey, so that you can identify the underlying subconscious drivers of your automatic behaviour - and then reprogram a new healthier set of 'habits' that doesn't hold you back.

But the journey is yours. Your coach simply provides guidance and a hand to pull you back to safety when you need it.

But why me?

WELL... I REALLY DO UNDERSTAND YOUR BURNOUT

Growing up in South Africa, I moved to London early in my corporate career as an actuary and systems analyst in the insurance industry.  I drifted into running my own specialist global recruitment consultancy, thinking it would give me more 'freedom' and income. And it did, as I got to move to Australia, with a Kiwi husband and our two little kids in tow and still do business as usual. 

But I soon realised that juggling a young family with working all hours across international timezones was a recipe for burnout, leading to chronic exhaustion, weight-gain, serious health issues and emotional dysregulation.

The exhaustion is real...

So I ‘followed my passion’ opening a local CrossFit gym, but really just swapping one stressful lifestyle for another. Something had to change as my clients were getting fitter and I was just getting fatter!

As a health and fitness professional, I knew WHAT I needed to do (and was desperate for change!), but simply did not have the time or energy to start. My 'go-hard-or-go-home' mentality was actually sabotaging my health and happiness as I kept pushing through, thinking "If I can just get on top of everything first..."

But by not prioritising my health, I was barely keeping my head above water in all the other spheres of my life. I was definitely not showing up as the wonderful mum, successful business owner and coach or inspirational example of health and happiness that I wanted for myself.

I've put in the hours of study and research...

Nutrition and health information out there seems so complicated and contradictory – how is it possible to know what’s “right”?

You’re spot on – nutrition IS complicated and there is plenty of contradictory advice out there.  It’s contradictory because everybody has a different experience with different foods (and often wants to share it with the world).  Even the science is often contradictory, which very often comes down to the set of circumstances in which the testing was carried out.  So, we need to piece together what works (and what doesn’t work!) for YOU, not for everybody else.  And it doesn’t need to be complicated – we know that eating clean, non-processed ‘real’ food is the bulk of what is needed.  The rest is fine-tuning and adjusting for your physiology, mindset and lifestyle.

Will I be able to get it at this price again?
